diverse range of talents from across
nations. It seeks to create a fusion
of harmony and goodwill. It aspires
to nurture the spirit of friendship
amongst our children across political
boundaries."
"…This festival
strives to build in our children the
urge to understand and appreciate the
diverse range of cultures around the
world. We try to encourage the flow
of creative impulses. We seek to construct
a new paradigm of friendship and peace."
"…It is important to remember
that the real winner is the one who
tries honestly to the best of his or
her ability. The real winner is one
who can take a defeat with a smile on
his or her face. And come back with
a greater resolve. Sports is all about
that." |
