Seminars and Conferences

The school organizes seminars and workshops on various educational themes with the objective of enhancing the awareness and appreciation of various international educational programmes among teachers and administrators of schools and colleges and how they help students to pursue higher education opportunities both within India and abroad.

The events conducted at the school include a seminar on 'Educational Challenges in an Emerging India' held in cooperation with the IBO; an interactive session on 'The IB Diploma Programme and Further Educational Opportunities' wherein Principals from a number of leading colleges in Mumbai participated; the IGCSE Teacher Training programme for English as a First Language, Business Studies and Physics - conducted by the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE).

In the IBO Conference held at the school in September 2007, about 240 teachers from 20 countries attended. In the CIE Conference that was conducted at the school in October 2005 and April 2007 about 100 teachers from India participated. In September 2009, the School hosted a CIPP workshop organised by CIE with the participation of about 40 teachers from all over India.

In 2010, our School hosted the Round Square South Asia and the Gulf Region Junior Regional Conference at the School and DAIS Study and Activity Centre at Matheran, with participation of 20 schools from Bangladesh, Jordan, Sultanate of Oman, UAE and India. The theme of this conference was water conservation.

In 2011, the School also hosted the Annual General Meeting of the Round Square South Asia and Gulf Region members, with participation from Heads of Schools, Honorary Members and Friends of Round Square and Round Square Representatives.
