DAIS Prayer on the Conference Theme
‘Redefining Progress Through Sustainable Environment’
Life began as a single speck,
Growing in complexity as time progressed,
Blessed with the elements of life,
Mankind evolved, so did his needs, greed, likes and dislikes.
Every bit of our planet earth,
Indiscriminately used and ripped apart,
Deforestation, pollution and soaring temperatures,
Need to stop it now, else, suffer forever.
To redefine success through progress,
The need is to sustain our environment,
Recycle, reuse and minimize pollution,
Reduce our carbon footprint, look for solution.
Let us join our hands in prayer
Save our earth, protect our mother nature,
GO GREEN, nestled in nature’s lap,
Tomorrow is ours, only we can keep
filth and pollution under wraps.
We do pledge to make a difference,
Give back to Mother Nature with reverence,
‘Cause it will be too late to realize,
What we have today will be in jeopardize.
