IBDP Results 2011
In the IBD examinations held in 2011, the school
has achieved impressive results with an average
score of 37.6 points, the highest score
earned by our students so far. This is now the seventh
consecutive year that the school has been achieving
such outstanding results, improving it consistently
year after year.
Commenting on the IB results, Smt Nita
M. Ambani, Chairperson, said:

Our school's average score is 37.6 points, compared
to the world average score of 29.59 points. 91 students
who appeared for the Diploma examinations in 2011
received the IB Diploma, making it a 100% achievement.
One student took the Certificate examinations and
received the IB Certificate. Candidates can opt
for either the IB Diploma or the IB Certificate.
Worldwide, around 78% of the students are awarded
the Diploma, and the rest the IB Certificate.
89% of Higher Level subjects were graded 7/6/5
and 65% of Higher Level subjects were graded 7 or
6. 78% of Standard Level subjects were graded 7
or 6. The average grade obtained by our students
per subject was 5.93; last year the world average
per subject was of 4.66.

- The school's average Diploma score is

45 points, a score that was only achieved
by 103 students worldwide
- This year, out of the 3 students from
South Asia who received the perfect score
of 45 points, 2 students are from DAIS
- 6 students gained 44 points
- 4 students gained 43 points
- 30 students earned 40 points or above,
constituting 33% of our candidates, as compared
to 5.62% students worldwide
- 66 students achieved a score of 36 or
above, constituting 72% of our candidates;
worldwide, 14.42% students attained 36 points
or above last year.
- In Extended Essay, 75% of the grades obtained
were A's and B's
- In Theory of Knowledge, 66% of the grades
obtained were A's and B's
- The bonus point average (for Extended
Essay and Theory of Knowledge) was 1.93,
as compared to 1.00 typically worldwide

the school is way ahead of the world average in
