There is only one word to describe our IGCSE
8th Std class trip to Aurangabad- 'Fantabulous!'
Driving in the bus to a place close to home,
situated amidst the majestic and famous Ajanta
and Ellora caves, was an adventure altogether.
Everything from the hotel, the journey to
the ancient carvings and stories was an entirely
different experience, tough to describe in
words. Aurangabad was a delight! We saw with
our own eyes and learned to appreciate the
abilities of our ancestors. The huge and brilliant
Daulatabad Fort, the beautiful Bibi Ka Maqbara,
the caves and the expert and amazing work
done in the paithani saris enhanced our knowledge.
I could never imagine a class trip so much
fun yet educating!
We got to know each other better amd I realized
how different yet similar we are. Everybody
has their own individuality, but accepting
it, and being friends is what makes us so
close and similar. Even though the bus journey
was long and arduous, the jokes we shared
with each other, the movies we saw together
and the entire time we spent together will
be cherished and treasured forever. We had
loads of fun! Even the Quiz Competition and
the Dance Programme were eventful; and awesome
to participate in.
The four day trip also predominantly brought
out the colourful side of our teachers. Whether
it was Mr. Vairavan in a dancing mood on the
last night, ready to tap his feet to any tune
or Ms. Vijaya, Ms. Panda, Ms. Parvinder and
Ms. Honita clicking pictures and sharing jokes
with us, we felt as though they were our long
time friends.
Not only did we learn a great deal of history,
class spirit and friendship, but also about
our own feelings and personality. Every ounce
of this trip will be etched in our minds forver.
The fact that all of us were together, enjoying
everything that we did, was probably the highlight
of this journey
