CIE - Training Events

CIE will be holding a three-day IGCSE Conference for teachers of our syllabuses in Mumbai.
The workshops will focus on:

• Interpretation of the IGCSE syllabuses for 2005 and onwards
• Teaching Methodology
• Assessment of all components (understanding the assessment models)
• Resources and Teacher Support (including teaching approaches, teaching materials)

Friday 28 October
09:00 Registration of delegates (Note: lunch and coffee/tea breaks are included)

09:45 — 10:15 Welcome and introduction to the course, including an update on CIE’s activities in the Region.

10:15 — 11:30 Subject groups
11:30 — 12:00 Tea
12:00 — 13:30 Subject groups
13:30 — 14:30 Lunch
14:30 — 16:00 Subject groups
16:00 — 16:15 Tea
16:15 — 17:30 Subject groups

Saturday 29 October
10:15 — 17:30 as above (including coffee/tea breaks and lunch)

Sunday 30 October
10:00 — 16:00 we expect to conclude by 16:00 on Sunday 30 October following a brief closing session.
