Results 2007
The first three batches of IB students of
Dhirubhai Ambani International School, representing
the Class of 2005, the Class of 2006 and the
Class of 2007, have done exceptionally well
in the board examinations. Our students have
earned an average score of 36 points, which
compares remarkably well with the performance
of students world-wide. Normally, an average
score of 30 to 32 points is considered to
be very good for any good IB World School.
Candidates can opt for either the IB Diploma
or the IB Certificate. World-wide, typically
80% of the students are awarded the Diploma,
and the rest of them the IB Certificate.
- Of the 71 students of the Class of
2007, 66 received the Diploma, accounting
for 93% of our students, and five finished
with Certificates, comprising 7% of our
students; world-wide, this year 20% of
the students finished with a certificate;
- The average Diploma score is 35 (out
of 45), against the world average of 29.56
points;
- 7 students achieved scores of 40 or
above, representing 10% of our candidates;
- 28 students achieved scores of 36 or
above;
- In 24 out of the 27 subjects for which
the candidates entered, the school is
way ahead of the world averages:
- English A1 HL (Higher Level) is
5.71 (world average 4.78);
- Business and Management HL is 5.73
(world average 4.53);
- Economics HL is 6.09 (world average
5.05);
- Economics SL (Standard Level) is
6.50 (world average 4.95);
- Biology SL is 6.00 (world average
4.29);
- Chemistry HL is 5.70 (world average
4.53);
- Computer Science SL is 6.50 (world
average 4.39).
