In class VIII, students prepare for either the ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) or the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) stream, one of which they will study in classes IX and X. They are, of course, provided with information on each of these courses and guided in their choice.

The school time is as under:

Secondary School	Time
Classes VIII to X (on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays)	8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Classes VIII to X (on Tuesdays and Fridays)	8:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The time schedule has taken into account the schedule of co-curricular activities for these classes.
