College Counselling

As students progress through the school, they increasingly seek and value the advice of their teachers. This help will be forthcoming on numerous occasions and in a variety of forms, but it is when faced with the choice of subjects, of courses and careers that a student will most need the wisdom, guidance and personal concern of our staff. Our College Counselling centre addresses this need.

Our college counsellors are on hand to help students make informed educational and career choices. Students, along with their parents, are informed of undergraduate study opportunities, costs, financial aid, scholarships and other related aspects, at universities in India, U.S.A., U.K., Australia, Singapore as well as many other countries. Students may browse through the hundreds of university brochures available in our College Counselling centre, apart from accessing information from university websites.

Admissions Committee members from prestigious universities overseas visit our school to discuss with students their admission requirements, subject offerings, co-curricular opportunities, and campus life. Students are also guided to explore higher education opportunities with leading universities and professional institutes in India.

Students are encouraged to discuss their career preferences with our counsellors, so that they may be guided individually. Parents may seek an appointment with a counsellor to discuss matters related to their child's undergraduate studies. Students are given guidance on admission requirements, university expectations and admission tests. The counsellor explores and evaluates students' grades and academic interests, individually assisting them in their quest to make the right decision about selecting the ideal college.
